Neuropsychological evaluations are not required for new 40-man roster player TUE applications. However, a neuropsychological evaluation may be requested by the Expert Panel on ADHD to support a new TUE application after the initial TUE application is reviewed and considered.

Major League - Documentation For New ADHD Medication(s)

For a TUE to be considered for the use of an ADHD medication the following medical information must be submitted to the Independent Program Administrator(IPA) in a legible format for review.

The prescribing physician should have interacted with the player a minimum of two visits since the last TUE was issued. Three or four encounters are encouraged. One of those visits should be within 60 days of the current renewal request. One of those visits must be in-office. Remaining encounters can be by telephone

Para que se considere una EUT para un medicamento que se use para tratar el TDAH se deberá suministrar la siguiente información al Administrador Independiente del Programa (AIP), en un formato legible, para su evaluación.

El médico que receta debe de haber interactuado con el jugador por un mínimo de dos visitas desde la emisión de la última EUT. Se aconsejan tres o cuatro encuentros. Una de esas visitas tiene que haberse realizado dentro de los 60 días de la solicitud de renovación actual.
